21-01-08 - Causeway closed overnight for major repairs to structure.
20-01-08 - Car goes over causeway (see Photos).
2007 - at least 5 accidents damaged the structure
11-06 - Damage at both ends of causeway.

05-06-06 - Major damage caused by gouging along east side.
21-05-06 - Large chunk of parapet lost at Stanton end.

- An Arriva bus has scraped along the bridge wall at the Stanton end
causing some minor damage.
30-01-06 - Repairs have recently been made to the bridge
13-10-05 - Major damage at the River Trent end - on the bridge itself.
